Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT)

Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) is a form of project financing, wherein a private independent entity receives a franchise from the major corporations to finance, design, construct, and operate a facility for a specified period, after which ownership is transferred back to them. However, in some countries, such as Canada and New Zealand, the term used is Build-Operate-Own-Transfer (BOT).

Joint Venture

In this engagement model, the customer organization and TekCommands together set up a joint venture entity that will predominantly service the customer's business. TekCommands acts as an offshore supplier to the customer's organization and brings the local expertise and service skills while the customer brings its knowledge of the existing business function while maintaining greater management control.
